Standoff with father of missing 7-year-old boy ends with arrest, police say

GREENE COUNTY, Iowa (TND) — An AMBER Alert has ended with the arrest of a father, accused of kidnapping his 7-year-old son.

Bryson Duong had been reported missing in Greene County.

Tuesday night, there was police activity going on in northwest Iowa related to the case.

KTIV reported it was a standoff, it's over, and that the boy's father, Brandon Duong, was arrested for kidnapping.

The AMBER alert said the 34-year-old father took Bryson and the two were believed to be traveling in a black Toyota Tacoma.

Earlier, KGAN confirmed in online court documents that Brandon Duong has been accused of domestic abuse against Bryson's mother.
